Liability for content
The content of our website has been compiled with the utmost care. However, we cannot guarantee that the information provided is current, accurate or complete. Pursuant to Section 7, paragraph 1 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG), as a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with general laws. However, pursuant to Sections 8 to 10 TMG, as a service provider, we are under no obligation to review transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances which indicate any illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general laws remain unaffected. Liability in this regard is, however, only possible from the time when knowledge of a specific infringement is obtained. We will act expeditiously to remove the relevant content if we become aware of any such violations of the law.
Liability for links
Our website contains links to external sites operated by third parties. We have no control over, and therefore accept no responsibility for, the content of these external sites. Responsibility for the content of the linked pages always lies with their respective providers or operators. At the time the links were created, the relevant pages were checked to establish whether the content violated the law. No illegal content was detected at that time. However, continuous review of the linked external sites cannot reasonably be expected without specific indication of a violation of the law. If we become aware of any such violation, we will act expeditiously to remove the relevant links.
The content and works created by the website operators on these pages are subject to German copyright law. The copying, processing, distribution and use of any kind beyond the limits of copyright require the written consent of their author or creator. Downloads and copies of this page are permitted solely for private, non-commercial use. Insofar as the content of this site was not created by the operator, the copyrights of third parties are respected. In particular, third-party content is marked as such. Should you nonetheless become aware of a copyright infringement, we would ask you to notify us accordingly. If we become aware of violations of the law, we will act expeditiously to remove the content in question.
The organisation responsible for the content of this website is the German Institute for Development Evaluation (Deutsches Evaluierungsinstitut der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit gGmbH; hereinafter referred to as DEval). If any other personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses) is collected on our website, this always takes place, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent. In some cases, we use external service providers to process your data. These providers have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are required to comply with our instructions and are checked on a regular basis. We would point out that data transmission via the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may not be completely secure. It is not possible to fully protect data against third-party access.
Logging (Log data)
We store and use information collected during your visit to our websites solely for the purpose of statistical analysis and to improve the design of our website. No personal data or information about your individual usage of the website is collected. IP addresses are logged solely in abbreviated form.
